Chad Parenteau Announces His "Fleeing His Insane Home Country (Briefly) Tour"
Because Canada's too close for my tastes. I'd rather be separated by water entirely.
True, it's only Nantucket Island, and the distance wouldn't be enough to protect me from the winds carrying nuclear fallout. But you have to start with baby steps sometimes.
All this to say I'll be performing on December 12th on Nantucket Island for Len Germinara and Sarah Oktay at their Nantucket Poetry Slam venue. Expect a politically charged set. Maybe even moreso than usual.
If all goes well, Lynne and I will be arriving at Len and Sarah's home on the 11th. The reading will be on the 12th, from 2-4 p.m.
I expect none of you Bostonians to be there, really. Not when I'm unsure whether I'll have to get there by boat or by plane due to torrential waters. Don't fret, though. I'll still have a very captive audience. Plus, I'll still be reading at the Stone Soup venue at the Out Of The Blue Gallery on the 13th, at 8.00 p.m.
And that will be the end of my tour, effectively.
