Countdown

Got my set list down for my readings on the twelfth and thirteenth. Too many poems at first, so I took out the Sarcastic Haiku selection. Pretty neccessary, I think. It was starting to feel like a gimmick and a crutch after including them in so many readings this year. I've written better stuff since the election ended anyway.

After Monday, I am done performance-wise for the year. Between holidays and the last days I'll see Mike before he's sent out of the country, I wouldn't even if someone asked.

Got contacted by an old editor of the Framingham State College paper The Gatepost. Looks like a reunion is underway. I'll let you know more about that as the info comes.

Off to my family's holiday party with Lynne. Then it's Nantucket ho from there. Text-wise, I'll probably be away until Monday. With any luck, I'll also do some audio posts from the boat and on the island.

Hope to see one or two of you in person Monday night.

"Freak machine press" couldn't be more accurate of a website title! You must be the type of person that works in a small cubicle of an office all day by yourself!

You either know me and don't want me to know who you are, or you don't know me have nothing better to do than randomly search blogs all day and find ones to post snide comments on. The way I see it, this makes you either a coward or unemployed.
