Sin-chronicity. The hubby happens to be from Massachusetts and, thus, a long-time Red Sox fan. I never had any interest in baseball moiself. But that season, said hubby forced me to watch and I got hooked onto cheering on the Red Sox...then Buckner. I didn't watch another baseball game for, ohhhh....six years or so?
I'm afraid I've never felt either sympathy or love for the Sox and feel less inclined to feel the latter emotion since they posed with G.W. recently.
I have felt sympathy for Red Sox fans in the past. However, the pact some of them made with Satan, exchanging a free pass for Bush in return for glory, was a bit much.
