Let The Excuse, er, Crusade To Crack Down On Poets Begin!

Yes, yes, I've read the story on convicted killer turned poet Norman A. Porter Junior, a.k.a. J.J. Jameson. It was front page on the Boston Herald.

Some thoughts:

1. I guess when you're a poet, you're so under the radar, even naming yourself after a prominent character in the Spider-Man comic books won't get you noticed.

2. Now members of my family can say this their kids: "If you don't stop reading and writng so much, you're gonna end up like your weird cousin Chad...or this guy."

3. Those cracking down on free speech now have a better figurehead to rally against than the previous whipping boy, Amiri Baraka.

3. Why, oh, why couldn't it have been this guy, who already supports a mass murderer?

I am hoping to land a role in the forthcoming "When Poets Attack" reality miniseries.

Is that on Fox or Spike TV?
