Seriously, I'm proud of the poem, which took me a while to write. That's why it's also the poem of the month for April. Also, it's nice to not only be part of a debut issue but also be published alongside writers I respect and even a few friends. Carolyn Gregory has another poem which, like mine, was influenced by hospital work.
