Yeah, I Voted...So?

I just tried posting here a while ago, but it looks like Blogger broke in have once news of the Democrats taking the Senate broke out.

I wonder: If Bush equated Democrats winning with terrorists winning, does that mean with all his bipartisan talk now that he's willing to compromise with terrorists?

That's the last half-hearted, gloating joke I'll be making about George W. Bush's alleged losses.

I'm just don't feel like doing a victory dance. I live in Massachusetts, where I was more willing to vote for Galactus the World Devourer than any of the jokers on the ballot. Plus, I'm suspect that anything has changed at all.

Remember, people: When all is said and done, the administration still exists. Joe Lieberman was allowed back in to pool, and he will most definitely pee in it again. The people with the majority now are just another part of the machine that helped start the Iraq War and the Patriot Act and only spoke out once GW began to devolve from tyrannical chickenhawk to lame duck.

Moreover, we're left with a pathetic anti-war movement that only took off when too many of our people died.

So congratulations, or something, I guess.
