Annoying Thought of the Day

This kind of talk got to me before The President's rehash--I mean his new plan--this week. Now, since rehearing this old plan made to sound new, we hear all over the airwaves that the Iraq stategy is at fault NOT because the government had no true motives to help the people of the country in the first place and that this is thievery in disguise as humanitarism BUT (gasp) because the Iraqi people don't want it enough.

Are we the first to fail a military action because of the lack of motivation in the people we're invading? I would think a strong work ethic would be more likely. Not that condone suicide bombing, but I wouldn't call that the product of lazy thinking.

Aspiring murderers and thieves take note: Just after you raid someone's house in broadlight, shoot the father, and rape the mother, go to the baby crying on the bloodstained floor, backhand it and yell, "GET A JOB!" You just might get off light.

As a poet, and an avid reader, I have to say that I very much enjoyed my leisurely stroll through your blog...it was time well spent; entertaining and enlightening. I thank you...
