I'm sorry, but I greeted the news the same way I would have if I heard my 15th or 20th favorite comic strip was being cancelled. I never got any pleasure from watching her suffer from her chronic stupidity, which so many people were willing to document.
Without ever intending to, she was a pioneer for the whole reality TV/Living Cartoon movement. Like most pioneers, she never reaped the benefits that hundreds of no-talent drama queens have in her wake.
That is her legacy, no matter how many Marilyn Monroe references you put in her obituary.
