Lynne and I spent the Sunday before Memorial Day over at Dale and Erik's, celebrating Erik's birthday (not a landmark age, but a good excuse to party nevertheless). We met his father, David Meyer, who let both of us recite a dramatic monologue or two (via his laptop) for his podcast page, which he produces and hosts for his wife, the local actress and playwright G.L. Horton.
Thanks to both. This actually counts as the first artistic collaboration between myself and my girlfriend.
Aspiring actors, drama teachers, and writers may be interested in the G.L.'s site here.
Anyone who wants to hear the monologues, can click here directly. Or check out the site in general here.
