Sounds relaxing, right? But it's true. Fridays are generally one of the worst days at work, as I usually do not just play catch-up but end up doing a dozen other things ranging from the annoying to the ludicrous. This afternoon, it involves a national meeting, which I always do the minutes for. Yesterday, it was another meeting addressing lack of numbers in a certain project I just joined up on (I have an alibi, but I still have to listen). BTW, is it me or is the idea of holding a staff meeting on lack of productivity a little redundant? If the item of contention is that nothing is getting done, let's adjourn this time-waster already and get back to our respective grindstones!
Thank God this staff is relatively small here and the BS is kept to a minimum. I have rarely gotten anything done at a job when talking to more than one person at a time.
