I am inexplicably awake after coming back from a weekend of seeing friends in Rhode Island and helping my sister with her computer issue. I'm beyond wiped, and I'm sure part of it is because of this past week's training session.
When my job used to run training classes in the past, we would teach groups over two and a half days. Now with remote training thrown in, we only teach them in-house for a day and a half. And it's still exhausting, for everyone. Even my full of vim and vinegar boss, who works with us during the day and runs to teach at the New England College of Optometry at night, acknowledges how tiring it is. I'm glad I have a week off before we have to train again (this time out of the state--more on that later).
Of course, some credit for my fatigue has to go to my online gaming binge last night with my bud Mike and his seven (!!!) year old son Jonathan, who I suspect would be playing circles around me even if he didn't have the faster computer.
