My Upcoming (micro) Feature on May 12th

On Monday, May 12th, I turn 35. Many people at my job have risked their lives to try and discover my birthday, so I don't reveal this information lightly or without reason.

I don't know what's going on the weekend before, but I'll be at Stone Soup as always that Monday to do a micro feature. This is the only time I've scheduled myself for Stone Soup, and I won't likely do this again anytime soon.

All this April, I've been doing the poem-a-day thing for the National Poetry Writing Month challenge (NaPoWriMo). I've already started to edit some of these (and on other drafts that no one has seen yet).

With lots of work and a little luck, the majority of my 15 or so minutes will be new material. I hope some of you will be around at the Out of The Blue Gallery (Boston Phoenix Readers' pick for Best Art Gallery for this year) to hear it.

The Gallery is still at 106 Prospect Street. The open mike starts at 8:00 PM, and I should go on at around 9:00 PM, following a special intro by Lynne Sticklor "The Prize Lady." Following my micro feature will be the return of Stone Soup staple Carol Weston!
