My Discarded chapbook is finally coming together after much editing. Over the last week, much of the final editing process focused on "Rat Poem," a piece I was having problems with for a while, particularly the stanzas towards the end. After much fretting, I think I now have a much more readable version of the poem just in time for the book.
An older version of the poem was published in Spoonful #0 last year. Rather than let the old version stand online and the new version be seen exclusively in the chap, I decided to cheat and replace the old version of "Rat Poem" in Spoonful #0 with the new version.
My online journal, my rules. Much of the editing I did took away embarassing gramatical errors anyway.
