Artists that introduce themselves (not explain entirely, but introduce) in a simple sentence and have to insert their artist statement, reality show sound ramblings, and VH1 sound byte in one "introduction" and leave nothing but scratching heads.
If you can't give a reasonable impression of what you do in a few sentences, how do you expect anyone to understand you in a twenty or thirty minute performance?
