New Long(ish) Poem (draft)

Been doing a lot of haiku over at my MySpace blog. To try and jump start me out of my dry spell of writing, I've decided to try posting rough drafts here on my blogs. Tha'ts why the poem below and the other non-haiku from a few days ago are more raw. I welcome comments, even insults.

Poem

The Catholics and Christians are easy
to see and hear coming, their stentences
using "Jesus" as subject, predicate
and direct object.

It's the other faiths who have
better chances of selling you swampland
(substituting "swamp" with "wet")
and having you trade in
old superstitions for new ones.

Word of advice:
see Buddah while walking?
Kill him before he kills you.

My local zen master
would give a "whatever will be"
to the bullet about to leave a gun
he just happened to point at me.

Tarot slits throats, can stab through
a heavy coats. Don't ask how I know.

If you time it right, you can walk
quickly by an aethist
while they sit at their desks,
crossing out God's hand
and putting in theirs.

My secret to safety
is to not even have faith in myself.
You can tell.
