My Mom has been clearing the house of various memorabilia my father bought over the years. My mother has always been the type to discard the sentimental objects and hold onto the sentiments, but she thinks of the family first. Yesterday, she offered me a few objects that used to be in his office in Leominster. The one posted below is going on my desk first thing on Monday.

My father found this at a yard sale a few years ago. It was the same type of cap gun that he owned as a child. Had to have it. The stand it's on was made from scratch by my Pepe. The plaque was my parents' touch.

Fairmound was the town in Rhode Island my father grew up in.
And yes, the cap gun works.
