Today, I got to catch up with two friends you've read about here many times: James Conant and Cindy Williams, one of the last artsy couples living in the middle of Cambridge. James is recovering from knee surgery, and Cindy has job stress related to her health that make my work issues seem petty and bitchy by comparison. This makes it tough for them to even stop by Stone Soup down the street nowadays, let alone come down to check out my JP digs. Luckily, it hasn't stopped their creative output.
James, who might have a show at the Out of The Blue in the Spring, has been making some impressive shadowboxes. You can preview his latest creations on his blog here.
Cindy, on the ohter hand, has done away with blogs and created an actual website for her photography called Imagery and Beyond. She still has to set up some details for ordering, but for now you can visit the site here and email her for any information the site doesn't have yet. Given the homemade cards I've received from them over the years, I would definitely recommend looking over Cindy's site with the holidays coming up.
