Props to Boston's Weekly Dig

Their covers haven't done a lot for me in a long time, but the alternative covers for this week are worth checking out. Click here while they're still up.





Their Boston Globe parody cover was good, but I think the cover above captures the spirit of The Boston Herald to a T (no pun intended).

I found a free copy of the Herald to skim through earlier. Lots of Senator Dianne Wilkerson footage, plus an article on (wait for it) how Aerosmith's Joe Perry supports McCain. Even with the McCain vs. LA Times controversy, the Herald's coverage of their trailing man on the last week before the election reads like a slow news week. Wilkerson's scandal must have been a relief to them.
