April 12th - Stone Soup Poetry celebrates poetry month with us.
Stone Soup Poetry is the longest consecutively running poetry reading in Boston. Jack Powers started Stone Soup 37 years ago and the list of poetry royalty that has graced its stage is limitless. Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, and Lawrence Ferlinghetti are just some of the names of poets who have read at Stone Soup over the years. Currently hosted by Chad Parenteau, Stone Soup has been the jumping off point for talented readers for many years, including our host Rat. Stone Soup Poetry runs every Monday at the Out of the Blue Gallery 106 Prospect St. Cambridge, MA. Join us for a very special 1 hour feature with some of the best poets in the open mic scene.
