Fox Chase Memories

Below are some of the pics I took during the Fox Chase Reading Series in Philadelphia last Saturday. I was going to do some film, but I ended up using up too much battery power filming Hans Rickheit (more on that later), so I focused on capturing images (apologies for missing Ray Greenblatt's image, though I caught him over host G Emil Reutter's below, hand on face, likely wiping off sweat).





It was a hot day in Philly, and we were packed in the 3 Sisters Corner Cafe, which had good food and atmosphere but was small enough to make the Out of The Blue look like a hotel lobby. Still, everyone was in great spirits despite the broken AC and cramped quarters.

As good as my reading was, one of the bigger highlights was having two friends from Jersey, Barb and Tom, in the audience.





As a token of appreciation, I'm posting this photo at Tom's request of Barb smiling (a rare occurrence).





Despite the shadows, the evidence is conclusive.
