Greetings from NOT American Samoa. I've been back and recovering from jet lag for the last couple of days and am only now starting to gather my photos together and thinking of the right string of words to use that will best describe my time overseas while on assignment for the VA. I will be posting these words and accompanying photos on my blog later this week. For now, enjoy one of the more idyllic shots taken on my last day in Samoa. This was only one of the two truly sunny days there (the other was my first day on the job, when I didn't keep a camera handy). Despite the weather, I did my best to capture the essence of the area as I saw it. I hope you feel I was successful after you read what I post later this week.
