Poet, author, editor, publisher, fellow venue host and past Stone Soup feature Dave Brinks returns from New Orleans this Monday! Follow the link and click on the YouTube clip to catch a glimpse of his surprise Stone Soup feature last June. I say "surprise" because Dave, following my meeting him and reading at his 17 Poets! reading series, had visited Stone Soup originally planning to just do either an open mike spot or a micro-feature and ended up taking the spotlight when the planned feature backed out. Dave stole the show on short notice, selling just printed copies of his compelling book The Caveat Onus. Less than a year later, you have a second chance to see Mr. Brinks, and I hope you take full advantage of it.
