Jack Powers passed away on October 14th. Much has been done over the last week and a half to organized two events in his memory. There will be a service at the International Community Church this Sunday the 24th from 10 a.m. to noon. I am organizing what could become the longest open mike Stone Soup has ever hosted this Monday the 25th. The event page includes the list of participants, and more will likely be added between now and that night. I'm hoping to find a second location to help with the large attendance. I'll let you know when I do.
Stone Soup's site has accumulated numerous tributes to Jack, which I hope you'll read.
