Sign The Jack Powers Petition

A few weeks ago, I submitted poems from the late Jack Powers to the Boston Mayor's Prose and Poetry Program, which for several years has had Boston poets competing to have their works displayed at City Hall. I then created an online petition to help influence Curator/Exhibition Coordinator John Crowley, judge Sam Cornish and others involved in the project to create a special place for Stone Soup's founder for this year's display. The response to the petition has been very strong, with many people including heartfelt testimonies. Given that they haven't made any decisions yet, I encourage you to sign the petition if you haven't already. You can be a local artist or any one who has had a history with Stone Soup and Jack Powers. With any luck, Jack will be remembered in style by the city he loved.
