NaPoWriMo, Day Seven, Poem Six

Poem

I
throw apples
back into trees.

What
doesn't fall
back is progress,

my
job of
wild-guessing gravity,

Newton
being edited
by hidden notes.

Don't
tell them
I'm no scientist.

They
might laugh
even louder then.
