Again, my illness got in the way of expanding on it at the time. It was the cover to a chapbook by Ron Goba, my current workshop mentor. The cover art, titled Butter Moon, was created by Ron's adorable granddaughter, Shayla. The chapbook made its debut for a reading Ron had planned at the Boston Poetry Slam open mike at The Cantab Lounge, planned for his birthday, but missing it by one day. I had a minor hand in getting the chapbook together, so it was important to me to be there for the reading, no matter how I was feeling. I'm glad I made it. And took pictures and video. The video is private at this time, but here are a few pictures of Ron. One with his wife, Sue.Tuesday, June 07, 2011
My Life In May, Part Two

Later that weekend, there was an official hanging of Shayla's artwork, which I was also glad to be part of.
