August 1st: Laura Kiesel

Just because I loathe the summertime doesn't mean everyone else does. For the past couple of months, we've had a good combination of old friends and fresh faces at Stone Soup, and we're keeping it going for the last satanic, cloven hoofed leg of the season. Starting us off is Laura Kiesel who is not only a poet but a journalist whose work has appeared in a number of venues, including Z Magazine. She's real deal in activist literature, and her poetry is very strong. I've been wanting to feature her for a while. Now we can all rejoice in the opportunity.
