September 19: Gordon Marshal and the Jack Powers Stone Soup Savor Poetry Prize

Last week marked the birthday of the late Jack Powers, Stone Soup's founder. Before his passing, Gordon Marshall, started the Stone Soup award given to a selected open miker. A recipient has been selected and will be announced before Gordon Marshall starts his set. You may or not be surprised, but you will be pleased, I promise you. Not only that, but Gordon will be brining copies of his books, including his most recent, Poet of the Smashed Palace. I hope you make it this Monday.
