October 24th: Rene Schwiesow at Stone Soup

For a couple of years, I've seen Rene read at open mikes and grow as a poet, waiting for the right time to unleash her as a feature at Stone Soup. Actually I just had to pronounce her name correctly on five consecutive occassions before I finally decided to book her (the regular audience members know how I can butcher names from time to time). Now Rene Schwiesow ("Shwee-sow") has her first Stone Soup feature this coming Monday. Those of you who have been lucky to hear her on Stone Soup's open mike over the last couple of months know you can't miss this Bagelbard ambassador and co-host of Poetry: The Art of Words in Cambridge. The rest of you will just have to take my word for it.
