I'm no stranger to the long-running Brockton Library Poetry Series. I first co-featured there with David R. Surette in 2003 when my first chapbook came out, and I returned in 2007 when there was a special National Poetry Month celebration on poetry venue hosts. Almost ten years later, the venue continues despite the loss of it's longtime co-host and organizer Frank Miller. I am honored to be returning this coming February 18th, surely to be upstaged by co-feature CD Collins (if she brings her sweet back-up band, I'm screwed). It's from 2-5 in the afternoon and will likely include a cast of characters associated with the local open mike scene. I highly recommend the trip.
