Three days ago marked three year anniversary of the passing of Mike Amado. If I hadn't been so sick, I might have marked it then. Belatedly, I repost the complete feature of Mike Amado from his final feature at Stone Soup on July 14th, 2008.
I'll also post the video from the Mike Amado tribute that was actually held three years ago to this date at Stone Soup. I rallied for everyone who knew Mike to show up that day and express their sense of loss in verse on the open mike. Thanks goes to them and to "Gentleman" Ed Gault, who I contacted prior asking him if he minded this happening before his feature. he knew Mike as well and had no problems. It's why I dubbed him "Gentleman" that very night.
