Why does my phone cord get all tangled and twisted when all I do is pick the phone up and put it down again?
Your phone has a cord? Dude. The cord tangling up is a message to you from your phone regarding its antiquated place in the evolution of technology. I think your phone's trying to tell you its time is past and it wants to retire.
Most technology have a soul of sorts and will let you know if they have a problem with you. This is why I hit my computers at work. I know it hurts them.
Machines aren't stupid. They know when there is newer, younger technology out there. Unlike us, they can afford to retire and can't wait to. I came to this revelation when my old flip phone flipped out of my hand for the 50th time. IPhones and their ilk were made available to me for cheap, and the poor thing knew it! And here I thought I had been dropping it all this time!
Think I'm justifying a lifetime on clumsiness? Wait till the cord trips you up in the kitchen one night with the lights off and tries to kill you. See what you think then. Until then, I'll enjoy my piece of mind and my Windows phone which only adds 50 dollars more to my bill.
A haiku...
Today my Cellphone
dropped me. Seemed only right with
these slippery hands.
