Annoying Thought of The Day

I keep on thinking about the past two weeks of no Stone Soup.  People initially commented (though not anymore) about how in the old days Stone Soup would go on no matter what was going on, regardless of weather or even if the venue was unavailable.  Jack Powers would hold ceremony outside.  Even if it was one or two people arriving (Jack and the cameraman), there would be a Stone Soup.

I guess I'm not as determined as I might have been even a couple of years back, when I tried to have Stone Soup the day after Christmas and only Walter Howard showed.

In the end, my legacy at Stone Soup won't be the 10 years of work, the partnership with Oddball Magazine, the zines or anything like that.  If Stone Soup is remembered at all, then I'll be the guy that introduced the concept of snow days.
