NaPoWriMo, Day Thirteen, Poem Eight

A poem  I wrote while supervising my girlfriend's daughter playing in the park with her friend.

Spin

Late afternoon
playground
throwdown
best friends
spiral
DNA down

Dominican
ninja with
white girl dancing

writing
buddies
conspire

tall tales
five-time
great grandmothers

meet amidst
outbreaks
of malaria

evoking evidence
of girlfriends'
long lost relation.
