Blessed

I don't publicize my birthday. I do so now because this year I've been bombarded by an immense amount of good will.

Lee Varon took this picture last night after DiDi Delgado surprised me with a birthday cake before introducing me for my feature. After the last couple of years and the last few months of growing pains at Stone Soup, I keep pausing at the keyboard when I try to convey how much that meant to me.

I am grateful to every new friend I've made this past year as well as every long-time loved one who has stuck with me through everything. I hope you all continue to be in my life.

 I mean, look at my goofy hairline in 2015. If I had to try and make friends now? I should also be grateful I have a girlfriend while I'm at it.
