Bill Barnum, who recently celebrated his ninetieth birthday, has been coming to Stone Soup more frequently in recent weeks. He's also been sporting an awesome hat.
The only problem is I've never been able to taken a picture of him while he's wearing it! You would think a ninety year old man wouldn't be fast enough to get his hat off in a flash before I can even grab my camera, but above is your proof.
Last Monday, however, Bill left his hat behind. I tucked it away and look forward to sending a reminder email tonight to Bill and his caretaker. Maybe tomorrow I can get a picture in while handing it back to him at the end of his set.
