Poetry Artist: Marguerite Guzman Bouvard is the author of 8 poetry books, & has received
awards from, the Quarterly Review of Literature & the MassBook Award in poetry. She’s received
grants from the Puffin & Danforth foundation & has had residencies at several artist's retreats.
Marguerite is also the author of 12 non-fiction books about human rights, grief, illness, & the
impact of combat on veterans.
She’s a former professor of Political Science & Poetry, & is now a Resident Scholar at the
Women's Studies Research Center at Brandeis University.
Music Artists: Kim Moberg & Ric Allendorf met at an open mic in 2014 & quickly discovered
they shared a love for genres spanning from traditional folk to contemporary music. These singer-
songwriters have eclectic taste, layered harmonies, & smooth guitars that take us from Bonnie
Raitt & Johnny Cash through the Beatles right into Lori McKenna & The Stray Birds. Their passion
for music & lyrics tells a story that blends beautifully to parallel the emotional heart of every song.
The duo is recording a CD to be released in 2016. They can be found on their Facebook fan page:
