From Rich Berg:

FOR THE LOVE OF WORDS
Artist Interviews & Performances

Thursday March 3rd, 2016, 7-9 pm

Poetry Artist: Alice Kociemba is a Psychotherapist, Author, Poet, Venue Host & Workshop Facilitator. She is a member of the Advisory Board &
Program Committee of the Mass Poetry Festival & the Guest Editor for Common Threads, an annual outreach project by Masspoetry.org. Alice has been published in many literary magazines, interviewed by The Boston Globe, the Cape Cod Poetry Review & is the author of Death of Teaticket Hardware, which won an International Merit Award from the Atlanta Review.

Alice does most of her writing in the morning from her house overlooking the Coonamesset River . ‘This is the place you relax & unwind from the stress in the world’, and where she authored her new poetry book Bourne Bridge published by Turning Point Books. She can be reached through
Facebook & Masspoetry.org.

Music Artist: The Senescents are Steve Gabovitch & Diane Barry. This duo features at music festivals & local venues & are regulars at many open mic’s. Their renditions of favorites as far back as the 50's are superb as they switch between melody & harmony several times during a song without missing a beat. With strong vocal harmonies as are their calling card, it’s easy to get wrapped up in songs such as "Brown Eyed Girl" & "California Dreaming."

Diane has a gospel choir background that includes the Boston Pops Community Choir. Steve’s been singing & playing guitar & flute in duos for over 15 years. The Senescents are simply a joy to listen to. They can be found on Facebook & their website, TheSenescents.com

Thank you to The Ames Free Library, The Easton Shovel Town Cultural District,
& The Trustees of Reservations for Supporting the Arts & this program.

To be a part of the studio audience email beachchair@verizon.net. Doors open 6pm.

For the Love of Words is filmed at ECAT Studios, 50 Oliver St, N. Easton , MA .
