The Next Muppet Mashup I Want to See

I love seeing a good YouTube video where footage from "The Muppet Show" or "Sesame Street" is put together with various types of music. I wasn't even aware this was a thing until I was "rolled" in the video above.

Since then, I've seen many others, from Beaker singing "Master of Puppets" to this Beastie Boys mashup Andrew Borne showed me this year around St. Patrick's Day. And this Digital Underground mashup with Gonzo was even featured a few sights a while back.

For a variety of unrelated reasons, I took a YouTube journey to find some "Sesame Street" videos after having found one that was otherwise unavailable for decades (more on that another time). It's when I found this video.



Actually, it was this longer video, but the one above gets to the dance much quicker.

And when I saw Bert doing the pigeon, that's when it hit me. The perfect mashup!

I've done my searching, and while Usher has been on Sesame Street a bit (as have any musician with a heart), there has never been any YouTube mashup of Usher's "Yeah" with Bert's "Doing The Pigeon." This seemed like such an obvious paring, I even did some meme-ish photos to storyboard my idea a bit.

 

Clearly I admit to needing help.

I even got as far as covering Ludacris' part.

Clearly I may be beyond help.

 Alas, I have neither the skills, time, or patience to create my own mashup. Maybe in another year or two that will change, but I don't want to wait that long. I implore any of you YouTube mashup masters to consider taking on this task. It would be a wonderful, hilarious thing if you did.
