Don’t forget Sunday January 15 will mark the fifth time we join the visual artist from the Plymouth Center for the Arts for Visual Inverse program. The day will feature a reception for visual artists and poets beginning at 12:15PM, and a slide show and public reading beginning at 1PM. We welcome three new poets to this years program, Louise Dery-Wells, Patricia Gomes and Chris Toto Zaremba.

Cultural Center of Cape Cod Free Art Reception and Poetry Reading: Mutual Muses IXFriday, February 17, 5-7pm. Followed by a reading of the Mutual Muses poets from 7-8pm. Exhibit from February 15 through march 5 in all four Cultural Center galleries. Featuring the work of 100 of the Cape's finest painters, photographers, artisans, and poets inspired by one another's creations. Come meet the artists and poets and enjoy their work and refreshments. AN AFTERNOON WITH DYLAN THOMAS ~ On Saturday, December 10th at 2:00pm enjoy 'An Afternoon with Dylan Thomas', a one-man performance of selected pieces of writing of Dylan Thomas, one of the most prominent and lauded poets of the 20th century. Local amateur actor, Glyn Dowden,will take on the person of his fellow countryman, Dylan Thomas and share poetry, stories, Welsh witticisms and melodies. The audience will be transported back to an era of great promise in poetry. Dowden, who was born and raised in Wales, now resides in Massachusetts and is active in local poetry and writing groups. His original poetry has been included in poetry anthologies. Holiday Refreshments will be served. Help us plan by signing up.

Most of these submissions I get are from a Facebook Group called ‘Call for Submission,’ so join to get daily updates. There will only be 7-10 submission notices per month beginning this month and in the further.

Off the Coast, Maine’s International Poetry Journal, published by friends and former Mass residents Valerie Lawson and Michael Brown deadline for submissions are March 15, June 15, Sept 15 and Dec 15. Check them out at www.Off-The-Coast. com, this is a printed journal.

We're an international literary journal based in Berlin that publishes two print issues per year.
