John Amen is the author of four collections of poetry; most recently, strange theater (New York Quarterly Books), a finalist for the 2016 Brockman-Campbell Award. His latest collection, Illusion of an Overwhelm, will be released by NYQ in Spring 2017. His poetry, fiction, reviews, and essays have appeared in journals nationally and internationally, and his poetry has been translated into Spanish, French, Hungarian, Korean, and Hebrew. In addition, he has released two folk rock CDs: All I'll Never Need and Ridiculous Empire. Further information is available on his website: www.johnamen.com. Ralph Pennel is the author of A World Less Perfect for Dying In (by Cervena Barva Press). His writing has appeared in such publications as Literary Orphans, F(r)iction, Tarpaulin Sky, and Rain Taxi Review of Books. He teaches at Bentley University, and is a founding editor and fiction editor of Midway Journal. His work has been nominated for a Pushcart, and he was twice a finalist for Somerville Poet Laureate.
Tyler Wright is a junior English and creative writing major at Lesley university. Tyler grew up in Cheshire, Connecticut where he lived with his five siblings and parents until he came to college. He is currently unpublished but plans to remain in the city for grad school, after taking what will inevitably be a life-changing cross-country motorcycle trip.

Admission is $3.00. Refreshments served.


Directions:
The Center for the Arts is located between Davis Square and Union Square. Parking is located behind the armory at the rear of the building. Arts at the Armory is approximately a 15 minute walk from Davis Square which is on the MTBA Red Line. You can also find us by using either the MBTA RT 88 and RT 90 bus that can be caught either at Lechmere (Green Line) or Davis Square (Red Line). Get off at the Highland Avenue and Lowell Street stop. You can also get to us from Sullivan Square (Orange Line) by using the MBTA RT 90 bus. Get off at the Highland Avenue and Benton Road stop.
