Are you a poet currently experiencing homelessness, or who has experienced it in the past, or who works within the movement for housing and against homelessness? The People's Tribune, Revolutionary Poets Brigade, and Chicago Poets United Against Homelessness want your poems! The goal is to provide a vehicle for the creative voices of homeless artists and those working with the homeless to be published and distributed; for leaders among the homeless to speak to each other and to other movements; and to foster unity among the most marginalized of our society. To that end, we are putting together a poetry insert for the People's Tribune (www.peoplestribune.org) that will be published in print and on a blog in November/December. The People's Tribune is a national newspaper for the people, by the people. The deadline is September 1. Please send them to revolutionarypoetsbrigadechi@gmail.com. Please send no more than 3 poems, and include a 100 word bio (no more, please).

Undertow Tanka Review (Issue 12) is open to submissions! Please send your very best tankas(up to 10) and haikus(up to 10) IN THE BODY OF AN EMAIL to ortsergio@gmail.com or undertowtanka@gmail.com . Alternative art and literature magazine The Matador Review is now accepting submissions for the Fall 2017 publication. We publish poetry, fiction, flash fiction, and creative non-fiction, inviting all unpublished literature written in the English language (and translations that are accompanied by the original text) as well as many forms of visual art. The call for submissions will end August 31.
