By now most people know that the Out of the Blue Art Gallery is losing it's space on Massachusetts Avenue. It has until the end of November to find a new place.
How do I feel about it? I don't know how I feel about it. There are a lot of colliding feelings that make me feel mostly exhausted and numb.
There are other options. One moves us out of Cambridge. The other, unless we bring in numbers, ensures that we lose our savings by the end of the year.
I'll be expecting to work on a plan regarding Stone Soup in the weeks to come. When I come to a decision, I will announce it here on my blog.
If you don't read it here first, then it's coming from sources who are either lying or blowing things out of proportion out of self-interest.
There will be a Stone Soup Poetry tonight. There will be a Stone Soup Poetry gathering at Out of The Blue for the foreseeable future. I hope you can attend while I try to figure out a way to ensure Stone Soup's survival.

Chad, does Stone Soup ever get grants? I'm completely clueless about the process, but there are professional grant writers.
Unfortunately, while it's an idea worth perusing, I don't want to end up like Out of The Blue, fundraising just to throw money down a black whole. Staying out of debt should be the end goal, not the perpetuation of a bad cycle.
