Much like how my excessive walking led me to recently take some time off to rest my feet and ankles, my muse was put through a similar marathon for much of the year.
It's led to some good work, but a hundred-plus poems later, I had to take a break. In fact I've been on one since Stone Soup was put on hiatus two weeks ago.
After this weekend I'm hoping to come back and have more work out before the holidays likely force me to stop writing for what could be the rest of the year.
