The State of Stone Soup, 3-26-18

While I am waiting and hopeful that the Brew on the Grid will find a new home in Cambridge, I have not been idle.

Back in the beginning of March, the Stone Soup Stagecoach spent time with Melissa Castillo-Garsow participating in the Latinx Poetry Series she hosts. Melissa was kind enough to help Stone Soup find a temporary space for our regular open mic while she is finishing up her time at Harvard University. We are grateful for her support, and we are ready to start up once more.

Starting this Thursday on the 29th, we will be meeting at Harvard's Robinson Hall which is the building right at the corner of Broadway and Quincy (35 Quincy Street). The start time will be 6:30 PM. We hope you will be able to show.

Robinson Hall will not be made available to us every week. We are already looking for other venues for those times. As a result, we will be having our tribute to the late Walter Howard on April 19th at the Jamaica Plain branch of the Boston Public Library.

I hope you will be able to visit us wherever Stone Soup turns up in the coming weeks. I will be posting the events on the official Stone Soup pages and sending invites as soon as I can. Also, with some luck, I will be able to secure a date for Stone Soup's anniversary celebration in May.
