April 19 is Stone Soup's Walter Howard Tribute in Jamaica Plain

Poet's poet and open micer's open micer Walter Howard passed away in January. People are still doing their best to keep his memory alive. Tribute poems are being written for National Poetry Writing month, and people are buying the newly released Walter Howard: Reflections in Moonlight. Better still, people seem psyched that Stone Soup is getting together this Thursday at the Jamaica Plain branch of the Boston Public Library to pay tribute to one of of Boston poetry's best friends. Follow this link for the address and to see all the wonderful poets who will be with us this week. We hope you come too. Stone Soup isn't meeting as much as it used to, but we're making every gathering count.
