I take the stairs a lot at work. As a result, I'm always walking by these giant motivation murals my job put up years ago. For every floor you walk up, you pass a scenic landscape with a quote across the top. I've even posted a picture of one of them before.
One day while walking by one of these pieces, it occurred to me that if I want to be remembered as a writer, I need to write more sentences about generic, everyday things.
I need to throw my hat in now while I still have a chance. Here goes:
