The State of Stone Soup, 7-2-18

Unlike previous years, I've learned my lesson about having Stone Soup held on the week of July fourth. There will be no Stone Soup this Thursday on July 5, as I will be one of the many traveling this holiday week.

I'll be coming back next week, and we will have Stone Soup the following Thursday on July 12. However, once I return next week, I will be packing again. This time I'll be preparing to move from my current apartment. I might have a poetry event at my soon-to-be former living space. I've lived there for over a decade. Seems to shame to go out too quietly. If you're interested, let me know. Keep in mind that if I do this, it will likely be a Bring Your Own Chair event.

Despite my moving, Stone Soup should still go on as planned for the rest of the summer. I'm not certain if I'll have time to book features with everything I have to do this month, but I will try. Email me if you're interested.

Thanks to all the people who hae been returning to Stone Soup over the past few weeks. I'm glad you're coming back and giving our home at St. Paul's Cathedral. As we approach fall and a new school year, I'll be working to promote Stone Soup even more. I can always use volunteers for that if anyone is interested.
