Timothy Gager is the author of fourteen books of short fiction and poetry. Every Day There Is Something About Elephants, a book of 108 flash fictions, selected by over fifty-five editors, was released by Big Table Publishing in 2018. He's hosted the successful Dire Literary Series in Cambridge, Massachusetts since 2001 and was the co-founder of The Somerville News Writers Festival. He has had over 500 works of fiction and poetry published and of which thirteen have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. His work has been read on National Public Radio.

Dan Lynn Watt is the author of History Lesson, A Memoir of Growing Up in an American Communist Family. He retired from a long career as an innovator in educational reform movements: hands-on, minds-on science and mathematics, and educational uses of computers. He taught all levels from elementary through graduate school. During the 1980s Dan and his wife, Molly were internationally known for their work with the Logo computer language. His book, Learning with Logo (1983), sold more than 100,000 copies worldwide. Teaching With Logo (1986), co-authored with his wife, is still in use. He wrote for professional journals, co-authored curriculum guides and textbooks, and served as education editor for Popular Computing magazine. He and his wife sing with a community chorus and lead a ukulele festival.


Virginia Young is both traditional and independently published. With twelve novels and one short story collection, most have New England locations, her following extends through New England as well as Great Britain and Europe. A painter as well as an author, Virginia lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts.
