On Editing

Sometimes a writer throws you a word salad and leaves it to you to do all the cutting.

I'm talking an entire head of lettuce. Whole peppers, tomatoes and onions.

Oh, and they also make you have to go out and buy the dressing.

And they make you bend over for the carrot.
